Hes young enough to go, but hed have to do it for Canada! Otherwise Id say, DRAFT HIS ARSE!!! lol, whatever you say, guy. The moment some bozo with a gun steps on Canadian soil trying to hurt peoeple, I'll be the first one there to fight for my country, but I'll be DAMNED if I'm going to go overseas and die for some greedy fascist's oil interests. ..oh really? I was unaware Canada was surrounded on all sides by the United States... I'm pretty sure we have shores too Besides.. its only the US army thats going around invading other countries Yeah... because you want our oil. |

Dragon, Ive seen some of your posts...I know better You are not right on that one. I am very much against this war but I find soldiers completely honorable. I still disagree with them sometimes but I do not dishonor their service to this country. I have soldier friends |

My point was as a world of people we all covet something...unless were are unblemished Ah! Well I sure didn't get that. Yeah, no arguement there. Anyways, I'm off work so I'm off here for the night. Before I go I'd like to appologize to eveyone in this thread, I honestly don't have anything against the military types here, I simply believe what you're fighting for (peace, freedom, human rights)is quite different from what the Bush administration REALLY wants, so in the end, in trying to help the world, you're actually the ones hurting it.. Goodnight eveyone! Peace and love, as they say. |

When the U.S. signs a treaty, its provisions carry the full force of U.S. law. One such treaty is the U.N. Convention Against Torture, of which the U.S. is a core signatory. As Philippe Sands writes in his new book “Torture Team:” Parties to the… Convention are required to investigate any person who is alleged to have committed torture. If appropriate, they must then prosecute — or extradite the person to a place where he will be prosecuted. The Torture Convention… criminalizes any act that constitutes complicity or participation in torture. Complicity or participation could certainly be extended not only to the politicians and but also the lawyers involved…” George W. Bush has publicly confessed that he ordered torture, thus violating the Convention Against Torture. He, Cheney, Rumseld, Rice and the other Principals must therefore be arrested and, unlike the thousands of detainees kidnapped by the U.S. since 9/11, arraigned and placed on trial. http://www.commondreams.org/archive/2008/04/30/8611/ The case sounds like a winner we even have a confession Please - march your whiny butt up to the White House, armed with this document, and perform a citizen's arrest. Come on - you constantly spew your bile, let's see if you have the testicular diameter to do something about it. Cowboy up, and go corral him. |
