will it take for me to download yahoo messenger 8.1 using a 56KB modem?
Ive been on downloading for about an hour now but still it plays from 0% to 8 % then back again to 3%, 4%, blah-blah-blah. Any idea techies? Im getting tired now

do you really want yahoo??? Is it for typing or talking? If you want a talking chat........use skype........far more superior.

Wow, even in my old days of 56k I dont remember it taking that long. Something must be slowing down your connection.

dial-up... lol man i dont miss that crap... it took me like hours to down load drivers from sound blaster... truely sucked

Any idea techies? Im getting tired now There's also "Google Talk", too. You'd need to set up a gmail account, but it's every bit as good as Yahoo! IM is. You can also set up an account at www.meebo.com, which is a kind of online IM thingy. |
