will it take for me to download yahoo messenger 8.1 using a 56KB modem?
Ive been on downloading for about an hour now but still it plays from 0% to 8 % then back again to 3%, 4%, blah-blah-blah. Any idea techies? Im getting tired now

Wow, even in my old days of 56k I dont remember it taking that long. Something must be slowing down your connection.

dial-up... lol man i dont miss that crap... it took me like hours to down load drivers from sound blaster... truely sucked

There's also "Google Talk", too. You'd need to set up a gmail account, but it's every bit as good as Yahoo! IM is. You can also set up an account at www.meebo.com, which is a kind of online IM thingy. |
