Such true words Pam...my father and I buried the hatchet a long time ago and now we keep in touch now and then. Fathers have that way sometime. But you are right, whether it be a father or mother or sister or brother, friend or foe, if anything hurtful has been said, make sure you make amends before it's too late. And if you're married, if you have a spat, always...always make sure you make up before going to bed. Words do hurt and they tend to stick around for a long time.

That really hits home for me!
 My stepfather did that to my mother, and after seeing that, I wound up married to a man that thought I was his personal punching bag! I can understand how you feel!
