have you ever participated in random acts of kindness? For example..paid the toll for the car behind you or for the order of the carload of kids behind you at Taco Bell...
Ever had someone go above and beyond for you? Elaborate please... |

My random acts of kindness are a level of their own, payed bail, court fee's, and fines for friends...different area, different acts of kindness.

Yesterday i did a good deed. I paid for a guy's truck tire. Normally i would have judge this guy as a loser. He begged them to sell him the tire for what he had. He was $100 short. They said no. When it was my turn in line, i let the ring up my purchase, and then i told them to ring up the guy's tire for his truck. I told them not to tell him i did it, and to charge him for a warranty for the tire. I saw him pull into the bay, so i guess they did it. I wish i can say i got some special feeling from it. Times are getting hard for a lot of people. I could be next. |

I do it all the time. Not as often as I would like because I am not out in the mix all the time but I do. Adding on, you said to elaborate, I have paid for a persons meal when they forgot their wallet, I have paid bus fare for someone who lost their change, I give money to the people standing at the exits off the highway, I let people in front of me in lines, I let people in on the road, I always try to smile at people who expect a frown or a finger, etc.... I know I am forgetting a lot but I don't think about it anymore once I do it.
Oh and that movie was a tear jerker wasn't it?? |

My car broke down in front of a retired mechanics house once. When my ride picked me up, I knocked on his door to let him know that I'd have to leave it and have it towed in the morning...but when I got there in the morning he was under the hood with his tools fixing it for me. We still exchange Christmas cards today.
Mine would be giving girl my coat in 10 below weather, don't know why she only had a sweater on. |

I don't know if this fits your bill of what you are looking for but one night at the bar a girl was left behind with the tab of all her so-called friends and the bar was to call the cops on her. I covered her tab which was freaking ridiculous and I am glad no one died on the road that night and I took her to her house which she needed not really know how to get to and remembering where she was and going to! Blah

Im always pulling someone elses paper towels for them in the rest room after Ive washed my hands..I dont stand there all day but I do it often... Yesterday there was a woman with a baby in front of me in line at the grocery store..and she was trying to purchase formula and diapers...her check was declined...she had words with the cashier and stood at the door crying with her empty cart digging through her purse....I told the cashier to add that stuff to my order...and as I handed those bags to the woman her eyes brightened....it made my whole day...and all it cost me was 20 bucks.. |

I assume this counts, my daughter and i drove through a fast food place last summer, noticed a homeless person holding a sign "will work for food", so i ordered an extra burger, and we gave it to him, he like to took my arm off when i handed it to him.
