Here's the deal: I'm in the military, and I also work a civilian job 3rd shift...people keep calling me all hours of the day when I am trying to sleep...I have had a grand total of about 16 hours of sleep in a 3 week period. I have to keep my cell phone at my bedside because the military can (and will) call me at a moment's notice.

The people who keep calling me are wrong numbers and work primarily...all my friends and family pretty much respect my sleep schedule....

So, aside from getting a 2nd cell phone, what's a guy to do to get some sleep?

There is some 1-800 number you can call to register your phone on the do not call list for solicitors. Ask your phone company.

Block numbers through your service provider.

Yeah, that's been done already...it's just constant wrong numbers...along with my idiotic 1st shift supervisor...

Your son would benefit from a well rested daddy - just saying.

My phone is on all night too. I get calls from offices in different time zones, so it rings at 3am a couple times a week. grumble

Ask work not to call when you are sleeping and if they do maybe give them a call when they are sleeping to let them know how it feels, bet it would stop in short order.

I suggest getting a new number. Sorry you get no sleep. I've been without sleep the past year of my sons life.
