The scenario

So you are sitting in the food court. You spot this attractive man/woman sitting across the court. You just can not seem to take your yes off of them. The spot you a couple of times staring, but can not seem to take your yes off of the person.

The Questions

How long do you stare for before it becomes creepy? When do you make your move..... if ever?

If you have to ask, its too creepy bordering on stalking. I think?

Ummm it is just a hypothetical question noway

And if it is the first time they are seeing the person how can it be considered stalking?

OK pick a different place. That was just the first place that came to mind.

Just walk by them and drop something and if he looks at you then the first contact has been made...then play it by ear if you want to small talk...Also, be sure to look for a ring...you don't want to embarrass yourself.

Some stare then pretend not to but still look. Most don't stare that long and making a move is bold and risky.

If you were in a different setting, say a park, or at a sit-down restaurant, or even on a bus, the 30 second stare may be provacative

if i were single, i would have a rule. If i stare any longer that 5 seconds i have to go up and talk to her.

I would try to sell her a book, and then write my phone number in it. There, I said it.
