Simple... if he doesn't behave he doesn't do anything fun. No TV, no friends, nothing! He gets to: Do chores and homework. If he doesn't, he only gets veggies for dinner. That, and talk to him... if he's not a fool he'll talk to you. He might have another issue. He might also just think it's cool to rebel against you... at which point you can only hope that he will grow up. Always sounds simple doesn't it. Did that with both my kids, worked on one. Yea weve done that forever. I drive him about 20 miles to school every day just so hes nowhere near anyone he can hang out with. He doesnt use the phone, computer, we dont have cable, no cell phone, hes not allowed out of the house. its probably my overprotective parenting that made him this way. over parenting does not do that. If i might make a suggestion, have you thought about big brothers? it might help. Other than that hang in there , stand strong and my prayers are with you.
