Topic: Walking Outside | |

I cannot walk outside these days
When I do, I think of you And the many, many ways You helped me love anew The times we had, the walks we took The laughter, joy, and fun I turned around, I failed to look They disappeared – they’re gone The trees and birds and sunny sky They make me think of you All I really do is cry There’s nothing I can do I wish I could but touch your hand One time before I die And walk together in the sand Before we say good bye I loved you then, I love you still I know you do not want me But every kiss on every hill Until I die will haunt me The memories will linger on The love I know was real Now from my life you are gone Will my heart ever heal? |
