*Dedicated to the memory of my dog Dakota. I got her when I was nine the
night my real father died in a car accident. She passed away a few days
before Thankgiving 2006. I miss her so much. So this is for her, my
loyal, loving, sweet, giving, protector in life and death, my bestfriend
Dakota.*


She was with us
Since I was age nine
She was special
The first pet who was mine

She started out so small
Just a puffy lil black ball
She grew to be a big black
Fluff ball
Her once tiny legs,
Stretching to make her tall.

She passed away near Thanksgiving
Her old body could
No longer go on living.
Tears were shed for many a day
The skys seemed a dark
dismal, depressing gray.

She is in our hearts
Her memory will never part.

She is no longer in pain
On a cloud She looks down
At her former home in Maine.

She is Angel,
Watching from above.
She is with my daddy
And they will always
Watch over and Protect me.
They, who will always be
Carried in my memory.

I feel your pain our family dog Rodeo
after 14 years was called to also run
in the great pastures in the sky. Very
good one girl.

Aw Sweetie, i so feel you pain,,
I had to put down two dogs in the
same year... Really nice Dedication!

dogs.i had to do something a few years ago and put the dog that was
faithful to my mom, my stepdad and to me down. shooting her was very
hard for me.i had a choice let her suffer or shoot her. no vehicle was
available to take her to the vet to put her down.then i had to put 5
other dogs down for friends.
