Well, this happened with a guy I dated in November of last year. It was like high school. I tried twice more but it was just as fast and awful as the first time.

He made no acknowledgement of anything being wrong and brushed it off when I said something about my needs. He seemed like such a nice guy in every other way, but this was like possibly a minute. We used condoms, of course... so imagine if not??

So I stopped seeing him. There were many reasons, but this was a huge factor. Moreso the failure to communicate. To me, intimacy is all about communication.

If it's bad, I tend to question my attraction. If it's quick, then I will give him five minutes to gain composure.

How would you define bad? Painful like electroshock? Or bad like listening to Mr. Bush deliver the State of the Union address? How quick? One lady said thirty-eight seconds. Way too slow if you're running the 100 meter dash on bladder overload. Not quick enough if you've become flatulent on an elevator up to the 99th floor. Relative, perhaps.
