Mother

I know of all the times you have been there for me.

Providing me with means of shelter.

Giving me substance when others go without.

Gracing me with your warm inbrace when you were cold and bitter

But times are changing, Generations forget, Love changes for despair.

Now your old and tired, No longer able to give, Just yearning for sleep.

Still fighting back just to make a stand.

But we still take take take, Even when we know someday it will all end.

Your rivers will no longer flow like hair.

Flowers will never grow to shine apon your face.

I'll miss you mother.

In my heart you'll always have a place.
