and that is how you end up heartbroken and picking up the pieces of your life after that person has a change of heart or whatever

That's a risk you have to be willing to take. Nothing in this world that comes easy is worth it.
You stick to your gun's. You're young and, not tarnished by the heartbreak's of love. Don't listen to the nay sayer's. You lead your life on the path you have chosen.

People don't understand life, when you work your 9 to 5 job and come home and do the same thing everyday, you're not living life you're just existing, barely a meek existence at that. Nobody is willing to die for something they believe in anymore because they are all held down by that fear, so everybody dismisses the people who speak out and now there are no people left to stand up and speak, which is why this world is falling apart.

Unfortunately there's no way to change the mind of people these days.

Thats how I feel..I'm "just existing"..29yrs of "just existing".grumble

Sometimes I feel that way, like I'm just existing. Waking up go to work come home and do it all over again.

grumble

At least you have somewhere to go and the means to get there..this..is what I do all day.

You raise an interesting point of view. I think some people can do wonders being single. While others can work equal wonders while being not single. I think if someone is too dependent on the looking to be with someone then life becomes a drag. So it's better just to try and get enjoy life the best you can whether it be with or with out someone.
I'm a firm believer that someone can be perfectly happy with good friends and family.

Yeah well, it wouldn't be so bad if I only had friends that wanted to hang out and do stuff, but to each there own. I'm not that close to family but that's a whole other story.

I'm also a crazy optimist when it comes to other people so I wish you the best of luck in getting what you want out of life flowerforyou flowerforyou

True, but I have to depend on others to make sure I can get to these places so it's not so easy and it becomes stressfull at least for me it does.

I get what your saying though.

At least you have people that are willing to help you get to the places you need to go..I have to use transportation services for the disabled and they won't take you anywhere but to the docs and back.

It`s kinda tough gettin used to being single again.

Especially when you were Blessed enough to spend 26 years with the woman of your dreams.

Yup..men are too freakin picky..if the outside isn't EXACTLY the way they want it..they aren't gonna bother with anything else.

I've had 17 years of marriage & raised 2 kids and then had hubby leave me for a 21 year old....I've had my share of that kind of love & I've also had a glimpse of a few great loves in my lifetime. I'm not skeptical that its out there...but I know what it is now....and its rare and very special; hard to find and it'll happen and my patience is er. patient....
