The law SHOULD NOT have the right to tell a woman what to do with her body!..it should be left up to each invidual person and her beliefs and circumstances..I want a family..but I do not want to have my own kids..I want to adopt..if I were to get preg I would abort it. Why force the man to be responsible for something he dosent want. Why not make a law that if a Man signs a legal document, before the baby is born, that he dosent want the child. This way the Woman can truely have all the rights.

I am reading that she is saying that the choice should be the woman's choice and that a law should not tell a woman what to do with her body.

This way the Woman can truely have all the rights. That does sound fair. But..there are cicumstances that might make one not want to contact the father-to-be - rapist, abuser, murderer, or addict.

I know a lot of people don't feel the same way I do, but I am 100% pro-life. I just can't see the reasoning behind killing an innocent baby, just because someone forgot to use protection or even because of rape. I wasn't technically raped, but I did have an unwanted sexual experience (no actual intercourse) when I was 15. If it had gone farther, and I had gotten pregnant, I KNOW I could not have had an abortion. It wouldn't be the baby's fault. Why KILL it just because 'I' didn't plan it? I don't like the idea of there being a law saying you can't have an abortion..I think everyone should just have 'common sense' not to KILL an innocent baby. However, that's OBVIOUSLY not the case, so I think the law DOES need to be in place. Just my 2 cents..for what it's worth.

Women do not think of abortion as birth control. It is a major decision that they do not take lightly.

this is gonna get controversy i was 17 when i had my abortion i regret it i didnt know at 17 i could stop my mom my x finance was 26 he was ok with the abortion (my mom knew he was 26) then i lost the baby we tried to make it work then i dumped him because i couldint handle not having my baby and i got an order of protection against him (he threatened to kill me) he was a drug dealer on li i will always love my baby but if i knew i could stop my mom i would have had the baby i wanted the baby more then life when i lost the baby i tried to comment suicide because i wanted to be with my child so it dose but a emotional toll on the mom
