My friend's grandmother, who saw just starting her family during the depression, says this is how it start. Prices have been going up for a while. Locally, they just started rationing the amount of rice people can buy. I hear that in a couple states on the east coast, it is flour.

Gonna start walking to work. Not only saving gas, saving food and money on lunches out. Cause I only have a 45 min lunch, I'm not gonna be able to go anywhere. And because when I walk a lot, and work out more, I don't get as hungry as often. So won't eat as much.
