It's seems lately my email has been getting bombarded with mail from other dating sites, come ons, advertsing whatever you want to call it. From sites like eharmoney, naughty or nice etc. The most recent being just 5 mins. ago from singles net saying that someone viewed my profile and wants to communicate with me. WTH is up with that when I don't even have an account or profile on singlesnet.
These sites are getting desperate to get money as far as I can see. I refuse to pay good money to a site when all it does is give you access to email someone. |

I like the ones where there's a flashing little notice on the screen saying "Three of your friends from Algonquin have a crush on you!"
I don't have any friends from Algonquin. I'm not even sure where that is. |

Hummm I don't know much about other sites, I am cheap to be honest, I steal music from lime wire, movies from the pirates bay, and talk to women on this wonderful free site, why pay when you can get stuff for free.

Wow, that's scary!
Just what we need, huh? Maybe tell the mods and see what they think and might be able to do. |

With an Indian name like that it could be in NY. Well, there's an Algonquin, Illinois. I'm assuming that's the one they're talking about because all of the other "Three of your friends from _________ have a crush on you!" ads are always Illinois towns. I just don't have any idea where most of them are. |

i was on singlesnet...and know that im off...i get at least 10 a day, flirts of women i have to rejoin to talk to...its definatly a money scam... I was on there for 3 months in early '06, and I still get 1 or 2 contacts a day over there. And it's always the same people I had no desire to talk to when I was a paying member. You would think they'd have some new people over there 2 years down the road.... |

I like the ones where there's a flashing little notice on the screen saying "Three of your friends from Algonquin have a crush on you!" I don't have any friends from Algonquin. I'm not even sure where that is. I know it is a park here in Ontario. And cat I get them as well. I have learned to ignore them. |
