In all my years voting for presidents, holding my nose and pulling the lever as they say, I have been looking for the best option. The one the holds my morals in most every action, that I feel will both protect the nation, and also protect the innocent. So this year, after looking at the candidates, I want you to know I found the ones I wanted. They are Cartoons.



That is right. Just look at this:



Batman: He directly protects the innocent and the weak, stops crime better then Guliani, and is a CEO. Open markets and flying Ninja crime fighters sound like a great combination for this nation IMHO. He is also one of the world’s best scientists and detectives, so he would an intelligent scientist as President. Can you imagine the utility belt he would have if he was President? And we would get Bat Force One. Oh yeah, all black with lots of gadgets.



Captain America: First, nobody would question his patriotism. For all his work in foreign nations and resultant torture he would make McCain look the wuss, and you can’t beat his actions of going directly to a foreign country and kicking the bad guys backside. Come on, he punched Hitler in the face! Plus a bullet proof shield that he can throw, that is far cooler then a tax cut. I want one! Of course, we would have Air Force Won.



Wonder Woman: First woman President, and also an Amazon Princess. She would get the woman and Amazon vote, which is good, so many of us use Amazon already. Plus bullet proof wrist bands, and she could fight corruption with the Lasso of Truth. No need for torture either, throws the lasso around a terrorist, and seconds later Osama Bin Laden is found. And hey, an Invisible Air Force One would be damn cool.



Superman: I know, easy call. It would be such a great foreign relations coup also. Just look at it. Suddenly Chavez and Castro would be very nice to us. Iran would play nice. Iraq would instantly be peaceful. Same with all the dictators, as would you be if you knew that he could melt all your tanks with laser eyes and fly into your palace, then knock you out cold while your bullets bounce off of him. Africa would get the water it needs, he would just fly icebergs down there as needed. In one breath he would stop global warming or a hurricane. Really, would you vote for anybody but Superman? He is Superman! No need for an Air Force One, he just carried the whole White House with him.



But besides the classics, who else do we have? The Power Puff girls! Yeah, really young, but with the professor they have a good cabinet! And tough! Plus, everybody loves the power puff girls.

I will cast my vote for the person who will withdraw our troops from Iraq in the most efficient and expedient without compromising the efforts of our military. The person that will, at least, stop or reverse the cost of crude oil and its impact on the economy. A person who will provide tax incentives to companies that do not outsource overseas.
So that settles it. Hell, I'm not voting. Think that I'll rent some porn and drink vodka on election night.
