OK so if I am quoting somebody and I notice a spelling error I HAVE to correct it. I use Fire Fox and it has a spell checker in it. And a little red line will go under a word if it is spelled wrong. Does it make me weird that I feel the need to fix it?
I should add that I could care less about spelling, just hate seeing that red line. |

I'm a word person, too. But, I'll be honest with you... I've peeved some folks over the years by correcting their spelling, so I try to keep my compulsion to correct to my child's spelling!!

Plus I love when it pops up, "No spelling errors were idetnified!"

It is NOTHING against anybody. Not trying to put anybody down. I mean I know if I did not have the built in spell check my spelling would be all over the place. I am sure we all have our own little quirks about us.

I think I'm one of the few people in the
great state of Louisiana that actually can spell.
and I use that term "great state", with caution 'cause, it basically sucks
