Single moms may have it tough
Some days are extremely rough
Kids need shoes, school supplies
Want to get McDonalds fries
Moms dollars stretch only so far
Gotta have gas for the car
Juggling jobs and homework too
Seems theres always so much to do
But its a job I wouldn't trade
I look at all the progress I've made
And see the smiles on their faces
Single moms have special places
Their kids know they sacrifice
So they can have things that are nice
Whether or not they ever say
They see the love mom's give each day
Sometimes you cant do the things that cost
But its the little things that matter most
Teach kids about where blessings come from

Wow!GEL.This is and always has been of the most
unappreciated,unrecognized,non~paid and toughest
jobs in world that I ever witnessed.Personally I'm
seeing see so much of this,almost as if it is a trend.
It's extremely saddening just to see this,let alone
experience it.I could tell you stories that would make
you cry.And to make matters worse in Mass currently
she has 2 yrs.period on transitional assistance then
there situation now has become hopeless.There are Mothers
living out of cars with there children.It is becoming so
common that the local police don't view it as vagrancy any
further.He will ask her to move the vehicle at daybreak.
This has become a grave issue that best be addressed ASAP.

You are absolutely right- Metra, forgive my biased opinion.
There are many fathers who carry that load too with little or no
recognition.
I apologize.
I didnt mean to leave you guys out by any means. Just looking and
writing from my personal standpoint.

Great one girl, have been a single
mome for 15 years and would not trade
it for anything. I believe it has brought
my kids and I much closer than we would ever
have been. I would do it all over in a heart
beat.

hey greeneyedlady,
just this weekend i was sitting down with the check book trying to
figure out how i am going to throw my son is b-day party. it is rough
and i just wanna say that these words have reminded me that material
possesions are not everything. I have it figured out now so thanks for
the reminder.
