I have never camped in the mountains. As a matter of fact, I've never camped in the outdoors as I'm deathly afraid of bugs eating me alive when I sleep. Or crawling in my nose and ears and eating my brains. They're more afraid that you'll eat them.

In the good ole summer time does everyone on JSH like to go and camp a while in the nice mountains??? just any mountains??? (Guess i happen to love, the mountains, & fishing since i caught my first fish at age 5, in Idaho.) I can't wait till the snow melts so i can get out up in the mountains and camp again. Love sitting around a fire,fishing etc etc, it's the feeling of being somewhere els and not have to worry about the everyday life that we deal with all the time. That is what I believe too...find a spot, set up camp, build a fire, catch some supper...relax under the stars and not have a worry in the world....sounds like heaven...

I love to camp....have tent will travel. One of my favorite places in on a riverbank. Went camping for the first time last 4th of July, HATED, HATED, HATED it... On a riverbank too. I had bought a air mattress for me and my daughter to sleep on in the tent-HUGE, bugs everywhere, no where to go do your business at except in the river-GROSS, I could not wait for someone to take me back to my car, then home! Will never do it again, my kids didn't enjoy it either.

Used to go camping up in the Rockies in Utah, but now I live in Illinois where there is nothing but flat land for miles...and some buildings, cornfields, and a cow or two...I should of never moved...

Guess, i just love the fresh air of the mountains....food, to me tastes better in the mountains also. (Fresh fish , hush puppies, corn-on-the-cobb,--oh! what good eating.)
