Writters block...

Oh- words why do you fail me.

I don't know what to do?

Thoughts- will you compell me... to exspress you.

Fingers can you not type the words- I can not think.

Wait a minute! I must have thought!

How could I of written this, perhaps I'm on the brink.

Oh words- oh words- where do you roam.

Do not leave me all alone.

Fall from thought, to fingers, to paper- you must.

Release me forever more- from this block...

I often get writers' block.
Sometimes what you think would make a great poem, is not really good to you when it is written on paper or a computer screen. For me to have the inspiration to write, I have to feel another persons pain so on so forth. My writings come from all of you. So thank you!

Ms. T your little spruce of thought will come eventually again; and when it does it will be wonderful like it always is!

I know your pain, keep chipping away and eventually the writer's block will crumble:)

That's the way it is for me too. Almost everything I write is inspired by other people have posted. And they didn't even need to post their thoughts poetically. I can be inspired by any prose. It's the thought that counts.

I'm nothing on my own.

Seriously it's true. I've tried to write poetry just for the sake of writing poetry and all I come up with is really lame crap. I need inspiration from someone else to write anything that even remotely sounds half-way decent,...

Once in a while I will get inspired by my own emotions. I guess that's a form of poetic spiritual masturbation. Oh dear! Did I really say that?

I think what I mean is that it's just difficult to come up with something really toe-curling on my own.

Once in a while I do, but for the most part my inspiration comes from you guys (and gals).

Cerebral constipation would of been an even better title!



Alot of you inspire me to write here,
Sometimes things just pop into my mind too and I have no idea where they came from,
and then sometimes just one word sets me in motion to write.

I had not wrote in years untill I came here, and hanging
out here in poetry opened up my quile and ink once again...

Oh how I know all about writers block. Sometimes it takes a little inspiration to knock that road block down. Just keep those thoughts going Susan and it will flow again. I have faith in ya.
