So I'm going through my mutual matches hit a hell of a lot of no's. There were fields to set parameters. I set them. Certain age range, certain mileage. Well, I got mostly people outside those ages and outside the mileage. ARG!!!!!!!!! This is the stupidest system I've ever seen for matching!!!!

Yeah, I've been here long enough to know this. It just seemed particularily noticable today.

They had to take the system down today. It may have scrambled the preferences. That's happened to me before, too.

Then you know the matches are not linked to your settings, right? They are totally random...

Mutual Match..it takes for ever for the next pic to load..I tried that..and I am a fast clicker..No, No, Hell No, Yes, No, OMG Yes..lol and so on..

Hmmm..maybe that old term fits this situation..."you get what you pay for".

When I first got on here, the matches always fit into my settings. That changed before the system went down today. Don't know why either.

Really? Mine NEVER did. Maybe they are different for everyone... They are such the Bermuda Triangle of the site!

In theory, the people you see as MM candidates are supposed to fall within your search parameters (age & distance, etc.) -- however, someone outside those parameters can rate you YES or MAYBE and they will show up in your candidates for you to rate.

This is how I know when certain people have already rated me a YES or MAYBE before I ever see them. If they're from outside of my settings, it's obvious.

Not that it makes any difference. I haven't seen anyone I would rate a MAYBE (forget about a YES) in many months.

I suppose it is possible that a glitch could foul up some results for some people, but I don't really know if that's the case or not....
