So I was talking in a forum and this woman who is now the devil ;) pointed something out. She said
"If I met a dude with video games period I'd want to run, unless he had kids.Video games are for children. And a dealbreaker. I don't date guys that play video games, and an absolutely never on the RPG players. That is an absolute, as much as I am permitted to say such a thing nowadays." She was kinda right video games on a profile are what seems to be to me a deal breaker. The question is why is it a deal breaker? Should only children play games that allow you to bang a prostitute and blow off some army guys head? I mean to me thats not a children's game. So I ask you are there real gamer girls out there? Is it a myth? And I don;t mean mario and tetris LET'S DISCUSS! |

I think that's ridiculous; only kids should play video games! Yeah, certainly, I'd want my 10 year old playing Grand Theft Auto or BioShock or something similar, violence and bad language AREN'T bad for kids, right? That's just silly.
I wouldn't have wasted time even talking to her if I were you. Most of my guy friends play video games and they are far from childish......

I obsess over FF and Diablo series.
I used to do an online game where I built my own castles and grew farms and stuff. If I met a guy with a video game collection I would be right there hogging the PS2. I also have the Kingdom Hearts series. I have bought 3 PS2's in my time. I forced my ex-boyfriend to buy a Wii. :) We both competed on who could finish Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess first. We do exist. |
