Today my son is taking the test for a driver's license. So if you don't hear from me again on here, you will know why! He will be driving me to the center to take the test, and back home again. (Puts on parachute, just in case)

I'm not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing yet. I could send him to the store on one hand. Yet on the other hand, he may leave and never come back. But on the other hand, boy it sure would save the grocery bill! Yet on the other hand, dinner time sure won't be what it use to be. Then again, he could get a job and I wouldn't have to drive him. He could go to college and actually get a degree. Oh boy he is going to learn the value of a dollar once he begins putting gas in that car all the time! Either way he will be independent and gosh I sure will miss him when he decides to leave the nest.

Well ta ta for now! bigsmile

My daughter just got her learners permit a few weeks ago. She wanted to take me and 2 of my close friends (she calls them both uncle) for a drive. The guys show up wearing motorcycle helmets. We laughed our ass off, including my daughter, during the whole drive.

Whew hoooo! drinker HE PASSED HIS TEST TODAY! The kicker is that AFTER he got his license he floored it out of the parking lot and I was thinking TAKE IT BACK! LOL
As you can see, I'm back in one piece. So as soon as he gets home he gets on the phone to his sister who lives three hours away and she says "COME AND SEE ME". His car was leaking steering fluid after he got his license it began making noise.

He insisted on buying a twenty year old Toyota Supra. Both of his older siblings totalled their first cars and they had help buying them. Sooo with him we said he would have to buy his own car hoping it would slow him down and make him realize the value of a car. I have another child who will be 16 in August.

Life was easier when they were little! bigsmile
