just give them a few days to adjust being with you and away from "home". once they calm down, you'll be able to have some special time with them.

Kids are funny little people..be there for them. Be dad, be loving, but be available to them if and when they say, the darnest thing....the best thing you and the mother can do is....forget about yoursleves and make the little people the focus ......they are our future......Congrats and best of luck to you......

They need alot of attention right now. Don't be surprised if they revert back to a more childish behavior once in awhile.

Dude, I'm in a sililar situation...just be sure that you don't talk bad about their mother in front of them...it's going to take some time....look for a family resource center near you and take some parental coping classes...they are helpful.

I'm so sorry about your situation. My parent's separated when I was little. I would cry when I had to go to dinner with my dad. Don't know why but, I was afraid I would not come back. And, be with my sibling's. Try to realize that they may to have fear's . Like said before, love them, hold them, be there for them.

How old are they?

Do you own any pets?

If you buy them a puppy or a kitten or (gasp!) both, that will help them get over missing their mom and make them more excited about coming to visit you again in the future.
