Ok. so today I get my son and give him a bath. I usually always check his ears to see if I need to clean. Well in January, he had tubes put in and his ear infections stopped. but anyhow tonight i noticed a bloody discharge out of one of his ears. He went to bed and i was going to take him to the doctor tomorrow, but he is now awake screaming in my arms. Should I take him to the Er?

i work in a Drs. office... call his pediatrician...someone is always on call. and they will either see him ( quicker then ER, or they advise you)

if they are the tubes that naturally fall out on their own... and he isn't complaining wait till morning... if he is complaining, running a fever, or they are permenant or semi-permenant... you might consider it.

yes, I would... do you have any walk in clinics like "urgent care" maybe that could see him rather than the ER?

As the little one's get older, they grow kitten, the tube has probably fallen out and what you are seeing is discharge, call first and go from there.

He may have moved something by digging in his ear. That's rough, I hope the problem does'nt last much longer.

Just got back. He has bronchitis again and the doctor said the tubes in his ears were very large. They gave him a couple of shots and i have got to take him back to the doctor for a follow up tomorrow. my nerves are shot.
