I find it interesting your solution to criminality is legalization of drugs. I don't think we need to lagalize armed robbery, murder,theft but if drugs were legal what do you think those stats would be? As was said earlier this was meant to be humorous and it's fine that people discuss this topic but don't slam it or me because my opinion was/is not posted to your satisfaction. i agree.

I have the perfect drug here CHILL PILLS FOR EVERYONE. But who's to say what it is and isn't ok to joke about.No matter what you joke about your gonna offend someone,so what should we stop joking about things just because i kind of person finds a topic offensive,you can be guarenteed someone else is wetting themselves laughing at the same thing.I'm not advocating taking drugs as i'm totally against them and have seen what they can do,but i will defend his right to joke about the subject.It's his basic right

However, then the OP never learns to post appropriately or why it is needed. It is just respectful to say things how you mean them, and part of that includes posting things in their designated areas. I don't have the jokes come up... just so I'm not offended. It seems there were others that also did not see this as funny... but if this was not in general disscusion, would have passed it right on by. As I would have. No grief on my part... really. It was a pleasure here.

No grief on my end either,i just read the post and i thought it WAS meant as a joke and took it as that,and was surprised to see a lot of arguments over it.But stuff happens,i've had posts moved from 1 place to another and thats all that really had to be done here too P.S,my comment wasn't a personal pop at you.It was just an overall observation of the whole thread

I don't believe in DRUGS, Nor the USE of ANY... When you see so many lives SHATTERED, or LOST to death. Then YOU TRULLY SEE what DRUGS do.. And its NOT just ilegal drugs, its also ABUSE of prescribtion drugs that can be taken wrong and kill. I grew up in the 70's man,,,lol I did DRUGS,,,acid speed pot, dowers, ALOT,,,,but I GREW-UP. and lost many who NEVER DID GET TO GROW-UP. Now I see some of my own family,,stealing, in prison, dying, from THIS HABIT, they CAN'T PUT DOWN!!!!!!! Just my two cents worth here to.... And to legalize all drugs is to have them fall to our 7-8- and 9 year old population...... like a beer in an ice box, or bottle of wine left out open....THEY WILL FINE...and DO. AND BEER AND WINE SIP,,won't KILL THEM. But crack,coke,acid.ect.

oppression seldom works Who suggested that? I did not read anyone make that suggestion... Interesting assumption though... to prevent someone from doing something that does not have an effect on others is oppression drugs were legal till the early 1900s making them illegal is a form of oppression and could be handled in this manner ------- all so called victimless crime should be legalized then taxed use some of the tax for treatment programs for those who abuse themselves with the legalization this is *supposed* to be a free country think of the money theat will be moved from the black market to the public market thus providing jobs and increasing tax revenue not to mention the tax money saved by not oppressing those that are not really hurting anyone (except maybe themselves) doing this would more than likely increase tax money by 30% or more

But crack,coke,acid.ect. and the penalty for the improber handling and cause of child bn hurt should be strict but it is not anyones job to be mommy and daddy to another adult there would be many lives saved if legalization and regulation were to be implemented there would be less money going to gangs and organized crime organizations taxes earned could be used for many things and the taxes saved could be used for rehabilatation programs it is not the govt job to tell the people how they can live their daily lives and the tax would be more than enough to cover the programs needed to help those not willful enough not to keep it under control how much tax money is spent on the criminal aspect of the drug war while producing no tax revenue

I have been known to buy and sell some rock and I have several friends that do the same. Nothing wrong with it.
