its only been 24 hours?? I would give him a little more time. If u don't hear from him, pitch the velcro, curse his name, go out with friends, and try to move onflowerforyou

Why can't a guy just tell you if it is over? They either drag it out or ignore it. Okay, maybe there are some that can end things like a reasonable rational adult if they are no longer interested.

Why leaving me hanging on a hook? I'm guessing that because he didn't respond to the message and it has been 24 hours, that is the answer. I only restored to leaving a message since he didn't answer his phone or return the call.

When he said he was going to be home all evening because his son was having his girlfriend over and he couldn't leave them home alone.

Do I text him and ask if he wants the things he left back or do I just take them and donate them?

I must confess that I have been guilty of doing this myself, but not in an official relationship. My reason for doing so was I didn't want to tell her that I wasn't interested, so I figured ignoring her would let her know.

IMO, I would wait for him to contact you, but don't wait too long. If he doesn't contact you within an appropriate amount of time, move on.

IDK if that helps you out or not.

Been 24 hours since I asked him what was going on. He's been distant for longer. He hasn't contacted me since friday, the 4th. I realized I only contacted him and he suddenly never had much to say. Prior to that, I woke up to lovely little messages he would send to me each morning. It is like he was turned off a light switch on his interest.

I should say, a week before that is when he started getting distant. So I was surprised when he still wanted to show up for my dance troupe's open house on the fourth. The night was great. I thought it was just my imagination. That he was just busy. But after that, it was like, nothing.

been there hon... and you're right, it's just like a switch. I'm sorry, I don't wish the never knowing what happened thing on anyone. All I can say is that you will prob never get the answers you want. So see my earlier advice, curse his name and move on. He's a coward, you don't wanna date a coward anywayflowerforyou

Just expected a 39 year old parent to not behave in a manner more appropriate for his teenage son.

Offical now. Officially dumped.

Well, I was able to find out. He just isn't interested in me so much anymore.

i'm a really sweet girl, I really am, and we get along well, but he just didn't feel as much as he expected and wants to date around now.

Those are his words.

Thing is, I'm so very very picky now. I thought I finally met someone that completely open up to. And I did. Opened up more than even my closet friends. I should have known better.

Sounds like a good time lay. Lots of people are like that... they get you to open up and when you do, it's too much for them. You seem like a bright woman and you're quite attractive too, who needs those kind of losers? Chin up, sister. There's better men out there. flowerforyou
