oh and tom...earlier i kinda went into a rant...but it wasnt meant against you, just in general, i dont think its right if one parent doesnt do their job, either staying away or keeping the other one at a distance, unless of course there is a very good reason.



I'm glad you heard from your son, stick with it and dont let her dictate YOUR life with YOUR children.

Tom maybe you could have a friend drive you there. I don't know what is in your settlement but I do know if she knows that it is your day she can't plan something with the kids. If you are worried about her being angry when you get there to pick them up, have a policeman meet you there, just call the station and tell them that you need a "keep the peace" officer and they will meet you there.

I have the opposite situation. The ex schedules to see our child and then an hour before he is supposed to be here cancels....it is very sad for the kids.

Also job or no job has no bearing on visitations. As it has nothing to do with parenting. A child wants love.
Child support or none has nothing to do with it either. Even if you never paid a dime she cannot keep them from you...legally. While child support is the right of the child...not the custodial parent....I never received any child support from either dad. One (youngest sons dad) always did what he could. I always supported them being together...always. I would drive many many miles to have them see each other. They had a great relationship.

She needs to grow up and think of the children.

....I raised two fatherless sons...women like that make me very angry....I have bent over backwards to nurture a relationship between my Daughter and her Dad in Kansas...I am so ashamed for her that she does not see the significance of the parent child relationship and it "sacredness"...shame on her selfish wretched soul !!!
