earlyier today sat. a friend of mine and 3 others went to the casino. and prior i was waiting for my friend as we were at her gf house waiting on her, and i went in the house and i got so grossed out i went back outside... my friend gf has 2 dogs, a bird and 4 cats. you walk in and its smells of hi heaven. i dont know how my friend is able to stand that when she goes over there. as she at least used to be a good housekeeper, and having to put up with her gf disgusting apt... i didnt want to hurt her feelings so i didnt say anything...

was i right, or should i say something to her. and i sware if she was to move they would have to put in new carpet and probably floor panel thats how bad it isnoway noway

Give her a hint. Let her know. As bad as it smells it's were she lives and she might not realize how bad it is. Politely let her know.

Well, no one can ever tell I have a cat and that is a very good thing on many levels.....

A single guy with a cat?????HHHmmmmmmmmmm

I don't think its your place but you have the right not to go over there and if she ever ask why you don't come over then the door is open for you to tell her how you feel.

I read something in the local paper today they served a search warrant on someone and they ended up giving the guy a ticket because his house smelled so bad when they served th warrant. The warrant wasn't for the smelly house, I forget what it was for.

My advice would be to always double down and split when given two aces.
And also, always chose your battles wisely. Why make a fuss over something that does not affect you directly? If this matters to you greatly than make it one of those tedious battles, otherwise, let it slide. Letting it slide is gonna make you happier and I am sure you are crafty enough to make certain any future plans are NOT to meet at stinkys house.

Decide based off a coin flip.

A hint, hell.

I think you should tell her outright.

And maybe mention that if she doesn't do something about it then someone could come in and take her pets away for not taking care of them properly.

If you aren't going to be around her alot then I'd say give a slight hint, or just let it go. I have 5 dogs and 2 cats and they live outside. It's really to bad for her and those animals to live that way. It doesn't bother some people, and it puts you in an awful position. If she's living that way, she probably was raised that way. My friend had a similar problem but it was with a guy..no animals...he and his house just smelled awful! laugh

good luck!! drinker

are the animals mistreated? If so ...ASPCA
If not maybe ...Board of Health?
If not that bad, just start talking..the grapevine should take care of the rest.
