well i have kept quiet on this guy that i met about 6months ago, as what i found on him.. which i tested him to correct my theroy and i was right about him lying. i didnt tell him a thing.

I would discuss it with the person you are talking to. You will be able to tell by the way the person answers if it is true or not.
By keeping quiet you will act different when talking to the person and they will know something is up. Plus whatever was your ex told you about this person he/she may say something that will remind what you were told and you will start to believe your ex w/o the person you are talking to side. Just be up front with the person you are talking to. Especially if there is an interest there. Plus if you don't talk to this person your ex will know you didn't and just might tell you more, and add to some not so truth knowing you won't say a word. Especially if he is jealous and/or still interested in you. Do yourself a favor and tell the person what has been said about them!
