It's just so freakin annoying. Everytime somebody posts something positive with regard christianity people come from all over the place, and attack so harshly.
Good Lord, I mean what the heck is wrong with people?
What wrong does to you if somebody posts something about christians volunteers going to poor countries taking bibles with them.
What wrong does that to you individually?

Truthfully....it gives people a more negative image of Americans. It's like saying, we come from a great country that still believes in fairy tales.

lol, I am neutral, but what you are saying really makes no sense at all. Have traveled all over the world and never seen anything like what you are talking about. Guess thats what makes this country great, we can all have our own opinions.

I agree no one should bash another based on their religion... but christians usually the ones shoving jesus and the bible down my throat. I don't bash anyone for their religion, regardless of their faith. On that note, I also don't go and tell them they're wrong because they don't believe the same as me either...

you are saying those without faith have some sort of problem? It would seem by your broad generalization that the problem is exactly opposite.

I don't believe in door to door....specially when they have the children do it. I do believe that if someone has some faith and it makes them more tolerant of other people, thus making them a better human being throughout their life then more power to it.

while we're on the subject... I also don't apprecitate being told that if I don't believe the same as christians, I will be spending all of enternity in a pit of burning flames. Sounds like an insult to me...

I can understand because through the centuries christianity committed several atrocities in the name of God.
Crusades, inquisition, the hate against jewish, the creators of slavery supported their act upon the bible, etc, etc.
However, all those things were years and years ago, christianity has evolved through the years, even the pope John Paul II has apologyzed for several of the atrocities the Church has committed (for instance the trial of Galileo).
We can't keep blaming christianity for all those ancient things. It's like we blame white people from 21st century for how their forefathers stole the land from the native american or how they brutally enslave africans to support their "life style."
Actual people can't be blame for the mistakes of their ancestors.
Some may argue as well that in actuality some christians keep committing atrocities such as priests molesting children, some so called "christian" sects commotting massive suicides, etc.
But we are focusing is so small information, whatever the media wants to sell us.
We don't make more research. We don't see those ground worker christians who are trying to make life more bearable for people who are extremely poor.
We think that sending 20 dollars a month to a charity is enough to keep our consciousness clean.
We are so freakin short in our judgment.

They need to have faith in themselves and not such negativity to others opinions
