I am very proud that my family has served for generations.
I respect every soldier that put it all on the line, even the unspeakable conditions endured.

I have far more respect for someone who put his butt on the line than someone who posts about propoganda enjoying his freedoms that others fought for laughing at others that in his opinion are wrong.

Not everyone believes you should bury your head in the sand and ignore whats in front of you. Then talk about why its wrong when you havent worn the shoes.

Being patriotic and honoring soldiers has absolutely nothing to do with seeing that the administrations agenda was not for the American people. The agenda was personal and that makes it a crime. We were struck by bin laden, not Saddam. Saddam has been what he has been long before 9/11 (we utilized him as an ally on more than one occasion)and he should not have had to pay for 9/11 with his life. Iraq did not ask us to save them from Saddam, Iraq did not ask to be democricized, therefore we are as tyranical as Saddam in our zest for the personal agenda of this administration.noway huh

Sir, it was not me who spat upon you, nor would I ever do such a thing. I have great respect for those who are willing to lay down their lives for the protection of others. I just hate to see lives wasted in such a way.
I guess the plan is to stay in Iraq forever then? What if they moved their training to Vietnam? I suppose we'd bring the war there, or anywhere else in the world? I'm really just asking that we take a look at the path we are on.
And no I don't believe the media.
But that begs an interesting question, why exactly is it that we are willing to put up with being lied to by either the media or our president? Because we have become complacent and apathetic. So people who decide to speak up against the powers are practically laughed at.
I'm sorry, normally I refrain from writing and preaching in such a way...but seriously, enough is enough. Open your eyes.
Change.

in an early qoute...i made a statement...that it really dont matter why we are at war...i dont necassarilly believe in reasoning for being at war...but we are there...and need to look at it with an open mind...and think twice about the consequences of just pulling out...

I agree, but not a single candidate is saying we should simply up and out. They are saying over the course of several years we will significantly lower the number of soldiers in Iraq. I don't think that is such a bad thing.
People just over simplify it when they don't like the sound of it.

listen closely to obama...whithin a year...we would be out...and i agree we have no one running that is worth voting for...sorry i sounded so harsh to you earlier....

I'm no Fan of Bush and I wish we Had someone with Balls to tell CONgress that Were Fighting terrorists not a Recognized Military, and the Geneva Conventions Don't Applyhappy then unleash a Brutal Assault on Terrorism! if Terrorists are Hiding in a Mosque Blow it up, as Far as I'm Concerned there should be NO safe Haven for terrorists. thats My Opinion and if you Disagree with Me I DON'T CARE AND WILL NOT RESPOND TO YOU.

I am sorry if I offended you in any way.
I try to listen very closely to what each candidate has to say, I was under the impression that each plan was going to take at least a couple years, but I am forgetful sometimes.

This is all great except terrorists are not all ragheads (which is pretty bigoted and prejudice to say) but they are not all in the middle east either so "a war on terror" if we were actually fighting one, which we are not, it is a personal agenda "military action", would be with all nations and it would be worldwide, all nations would hunt and find and prosecute them, cut off their funding, etc... So you along with others have been bamboozled into believing the bull that this administration has managed to fearmonger and warmonger people into believing.

The Passivists are just as guilty as the terrorists in believing there is no war on terror. I hope your eyes will open before its too late and we see bombings in our malls and public places when one of your liberal cartoon characters ever get elected and close their eyes and pretend the world is just a nice place except for the big , evil United States !

The problem with your definition of uninformed madman is that it includes anyone that does not think the same way you do. As far as the "not all terrorist are muslim" thing, answer me this. When was the last time we were attacked by the french, english, dutch, russian, chineese, japaneese, or any other of the non arab countrys. I think ive made my point, but just for madman ill spell it out. EVERY TIME WE ARE ATTACKED IT IS AN ARAB. Granted there have been a few in the past that have been non arab but only a very few. Another reason we are more focused on the arab nations is that they have declared a holy war, if you dont remember, on us and if we ocupy ourselves with dealing with the lessor threats instead of the big ones we will be wide open. One more quick thing, Enough with saying sadam payed for 9/11. We handed him over to the iraqis and they executed him. If we had killed him then you could say he did, but we handed him over they conviceted him and they put him to death. The simple fact that they were the ones that tried and conviced him shoots a hole a mile wide in your theory that he payed for 9/11.

I sometimes laugh at the folks who spew the standerd propoganda about the war in Iraq and often wonder how they can live in that "spun" reality.

That's okay - some of us feel the same way about you, living in your own little village of Camelot.

I think a Nuremburg type tial for Bush and his gang of war criminals would go a long way in mending the fences in the middle east and defuse the tensions but again I do recomend the book "Legacy of Ashes" as it tell s the tail of our CIA in a most realistic manner and also details how america has over thrown democraticly elected governments and supported right wing dictators. the examples are many though we americans do not put much thought into the crimes of our government the victims of these actions do.

Same as I challenged another on the forums - Please detail the jurisdictional court that could try him, charges, specifications of the charges, and how he met each specification.

This is basic info, and if you cannot provide it in a succinct and clear manner, chances are you would never get past any arraignment stage.

Oh, and since you feel as such - why don't you find this out, and instead of p*ssing and moaning on here - go to the court of the jurisdiction you choose, and file away. Last I checked, most international courts do not require you to be head of state to file charges against a head of state - you just have to be able to prove your charges.

Good luck.

Wow...you and madison would be put away for life if this were true, considering your own personal agendas you have made quite clear in here.

THIS WILL BE FINAL MESSAGE FROM SAIGON STATION....IT HAS BEEN A LONG FIGHT AND WE HAVE LOST....THOSE WHO FAIL TO LEARN FROM HISTORY ARE FORCED TO REPEAT IT. LET US HOPE THAT WE WILL NOT HAVE ANOTHER VIETNAM EXPERIENCE AND THAT WE HAVE LEARNED OUR LESSON. SAIGON SIGNING OFF."

then he blew up the machine that sent the message.
