I'm going to stay neutral on this, since I'm a very existential agnostic.

There is a big difference between God and the Bible.

I didn't say there wasn't a difference. And the cartoon is just saying that it causes a loop when a Christian tries to explain why they believe in the Bible.

Irrilevant.

1- It's spelled *Irrelevant*.

2- It's very relevant because it's a cartoon commenting on the arguments for believing in Christianity and this is the religion forum section.

The cartoon reminds of current day politics. Thoughtless mud slinging to ridicule others.

Why is it that we don't see any of this drivel attacking Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Budhism, Agnosticism or Atheism?

Fair is fair, yes?

flowerforyou Some religions believe that their sacred writings are "god".flowerforyou A lot of Christians believe this too but they will not admit it because they know it sounds silly. flowerforyou They are the ones who are obsessed with quoting scripture.flowerforyou You can tell this by the emphasis they put on exact wording of the "Holy Scriptures".flowerforyou

I see a lot of attack on Judaism, Buddhism, and Islam.

Though I agree I don't see poking fun to Atheism. It's because we're living in a technological/ scientific age.

flowerforyou

I don't think it's silly to believe sacred writings are God. I believe it is silly to believe something without knowing why youi believe in it, whether it be a valid argument or a religious experience.

I heart you Mirror!

Thank you.
I meant irrelevant to me. I could not care less about the bible and religious myths and fables in general.

I Have to agree to quote is easier than to live. I feel society has lost its fundamental morality. God should not be reflected as a thought or concept. I believe in all religions God is something more than ourselves a level of us we should strive to be more like embedded their are common good. The bible is the propaganda used validate belief.

Then it's very relevant. You posted discussing on how the Bible is a myth. If you have some sort of opinion, something is relevant.

And if you think it's so irrelevant to you ,why waste your time discussing about it? Posts are meant for people who are interested to respond. Posts I'm uninterested in I don't respond to.

Oh, I didn't mean to say you did. I was just saying happy

I respect all religious beliefs as well. So much so that I used to be a pluralist (Though I know better now, lol)

I think this cartoon is interesting though, because it says a lot with few words.

flowerforyou People have difficulty understanding religion because quite frankly some people are better at understanding it than others.flowerforyou There is a lot of confusion about all of the ancient religions because for centuries there have been people teaching others falsehoods and misconceptions.flowerforyou
