I would try to find out more about her problems first.
|

You should take the time to find out what is going on. Such as a change in job due to health requirements and loosing 2/3rds of one's income. Maybe the person is working on some solutions to get finances under control again. But you can't just assume that a person going through a spot of financial woes has always been there and always will be.

and it would also depend, when you say financially stable, do you mean that they do hold a job, just not that well paying, OR they don't have 500,000 in the bank, you really need to define financially stable, that could mean different things to different people...
