Well, lets see...we broke up because after 15 years, I still wouldn't marry him and had ruined his life for it. But, the good news is that his life was not ruined after all, and he's getting married to a beautiful, intelligent woman this fall, who he very much deserves, and we are still the best of friends. Well, I ended my last relationship which was "Marriage" because my husband couldn't handle my being sick in 1998. He left when I needed him most, and when he wanted to return during my healing process....I said NO!...I petitioned for divorced 4 months later....

I did...Had enough..he was abusive..nuff said mines kinda the same....he was an alcoholic and was basically using me for a nice place to live...

Had to end it. I loved him dearly, but couldn't take that everytime I left the house, he thought I was gonna meet someone. For the record, never cheated on him or anyone EVER!! But the closer we got, the more insecure and controlling he became. It was leave or die of suffocation.

OMG Once when the mother was out of the room for a moment the older daughter asked me if my children also punched holes in the wall, threw things, screamed and beat the crap out of each other. I said ummmm, mostly not... Mostly they talk about their problems. The girl inadvertantly forced me to admit truths to myself that I was trying to avoid.... I've since made additions to my laws of dating... |
