When I bared my soul to you
With all its imperfections-

All those past mistakes didnt
make you turn away.
When you accept me regardless
of my flaws and hold me
When I cry, understanding
SOmetimes I just need a safe
place to land.

When I see the way you look
at me when you think Im not
looking.
How you brush my hair out of
my eyes and quietly hold my hand.
You sat with me for hours in the
Drs office as I tried not to
gnaw my fingernails and you
reassured me.
When you cried because I cried
and I didnt even know why
But I knew it was what I needed
You were there.
When you call me Punkin'
and cover me up when I fall asleep
on the sofa.
How you fuss over me when Im sick
or really tired.
These things and a Million other things
let me know that its love.
A partnership not an ownership
with an emotional bond that
cant be broken. A special love
like no other I have ever known.
Yes... its definately love.
