When you wake to greet the day
Do you stop along the way
To be thankful for today
Another day upon this earth
Another day to see and feel your worth
Do you take the time...
Oh just a moment or maybe two
To see and hear it all around you
The beautiful song of the morning birds
The breath taking colors layered upon this earth
Another day to be here in the now
Another day to find your way...somehow
And before you lay your head to dream
Do you recall all you've heard and seen
As you went about your way
Do you thank the lord for granting you another day
And bow your head as you pray....
To see another and another... glorious day
