alexi laiho is only 27 and he has got to be one of the greatest guitar players out there right now... i was never really into metal until i started listening to a7x and CoB and stuff.. the screaming lyrics still arent my thing but the music is so amazing..

Not all metal is about screaming, just to let you know. Try Mercyful Fate....they're an old group, but awesome....their once lead singer King Diamond went solo.....and he is just amazing!!! His falsetto is just...well there is no words to describe how utterly wonderful it is! ST. Madness........they're awesome as well. Acheron....but they're screamers, lol Sanctifier.....bloody amazing Others are out there, those are just a few....my select favs to be honest.
