Perhaps I am, but everything I've read on women's suffrage has to do with voting...so perhaps the sites are misleading? So if that isn't what it is, then can someone enlighten me as to what "women's suffrage" is? Ok, I'll ruin the joke. You were close, but you had it reversed. Women's Sufferage was when they GOT the ability to Vote, not when they did not have it. The Trick was if you ended women's Sufferage, Women would no longer be able to vote. The thing is it sounds so much like Women's suffering, that a lot of girls may be tricked into thinking it's a good thing to end it.
