well. i've been up this late because my grandpa has been in the hospital, and well about 30minutes ago just got a call, he passed away... how the hell are you suppose to deal w/letting go of someone when you never even got to say bye.....

I'm sorry dude. I went through that one summer with both of my grandma's (all the grandparents are now dead). Were you close?

I'm so sorry stand.. It's hard when that happens.. I lost my grandmother last February... We were very close and it broke my heart.. the one thing that I do know is that she know how much I truly loved her and if I had known I would have been with her no matter what...

yea, i was really close w/him, he raised me till i was about 12 and we always went hunting and fishing together, he was more of a father to me than anyone

I guess just remember the great memories you've had and that even if you didn't get to say all the things you wish you had, he knew it. You won't ever forget him, just learn to be okay with his memory in time. I wish you well, being with the rest of your family should help

It is not easy when someone we love leaves us. Just try to remember all the good times and remember he is no longer suffering. And remember grieving is different for everyone...some take longer than others to "get past it" took me 10 years to be able to talk about my dad without crying my eyes out.
