Where's hicker when we need her? "Don't post here unless you agree with me" is that the stance we are taking here?

I personally didn't like his stance on much of anything, I don't like that he was accused of spousal abuse on several occasions, but he didn't get convicted, because she took him back every time, and dropped charges.

But to censor someone's thoughts... I didn't think that was allowed here? I must be wrong.

A personal attack on a celebrity... heck the media does it all them time....

Well just because he wasn't convicted dosn't mean it didn't happen, but I can't find anything about it, not even accusations. I am sure that in next month we will be bombarded with stuff on the man, I will be listening for this.

it matters not about a police report

anyone can file a complaint about anything

and there will be a report made

that is how it works

but the complaint is only a complaint

until there is a conviction

I heard it from the BBC like 10 years ago the first time, and a few times after that. No I can't find a link to it either.

However with the political ties he has, I don't know or trust that it would come out again...but I'll be listening to the BBC for it. Just for the naysayers who like to bash me personally about it.

i do like to debate, however if I don't know something is fact, I don't open my mouth, or if proven wrong, I will appologise, but like I said I heard it on several occasions.

show the conviction it would be public record

I try to listen to all respectfully. I hope you do not percieve my persistant questions as an attack. I agree with your point about his connections, but usually something eventually comes out. I like the BBC also, because it gives a different angle.

(No matter if there was reports, they were married for 64 years, during that amount of time and in the business they were both in, there was bound to be some rough times. BUT THEY STAYED TOGETHER AND SHE WAS WITH HIM WHEN HE PASSED, so things couldn't have been that bad.)

Excuse me, but I was an abused wife in my marriage and no it is never good. But things get blown out of proportion sometimes in the media. that is all I am saying.

It is unfortunate that he passed, I'm sure someone loved him.... but my sentiments exactly, why honor someone like this.... The local crack dealer died and no one honors him....
