I would hunt if I was properly trained & practiced my marksmanship enough that I was confident I had an excellent chance of killing a deer quickly, & tracking & finding it in case I didn't. Venison is good, & hunting is a good way to helpcontrolpopulation & keep the herds healthier.

yep dear is good it is a good thing people like heston and others in the nra have protected gun rights or you could not go hunting and get ya a dear  Can you keep the Heston in the Heston thread please.... My wild game feeds are a trip. People fighting with silverware over food. 85 people I fed last july. I thought the alligator and langastinos were good. Buffalo, deer, elk, bear, fish- walleye, northern, bass. Yummy. Oh yeah 16 cases of beer. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Again this is about deer hunting.... not the NRA or Charlton Heston... so i would perfer to keep my sentiments to myself about them. |

I think some of the people who are against hunting are well meaning but a little misguided. Also enviromental conditions vary in different parts of the nation . People who are against hunting view humans as outside the natural order, while people who hunt tend to view humans as part of the natural order.
