I do not like wild meat, so I do not hunt. It is a little strange with as much as a gun enthusiast as I am, but it is just how I feel. I have no issue with those who do hunt, and eat the game they shoot though. Hunting is a very humane way to assist our friends in the wild with a healthy environment to live in

 I brought down a buck with my knife and some dogs once years ago

NO!! but my ex hubby went deer hunting one yr and wanted to take my daughter, and i totally went off the wall on that and told him no, as if she had seen him kill a deer she would had freaked. come on you dont take a 4yr old to deer hunting..

No, I don't own a gun and there is other ways to survive. Although I don't hold any thing to anyone who does. to each there own.

We have to hunt where I live. Deer are ridiculously overpopulated. In my county last year there was over 1000 deer/car collisions. 2 killed. Keep that in mind when you're driving and bambi jumps out in front of you causing a horrific accident putting you and your family in the hospital with enormous medical bills and elevated insurance rates. It becomes a safety issue. Hunting is conservation.
