Has there ever been an album or soundtrack that you just can't stop listening to for days on end?
I've been like that with the "Across The Universe" soundtrack. What are some of your favorites? |

Neutral Milk Hotel's In the Aeroplane Over the Sea is an amazing album that I always listen to from beginning to end. I'll never grow tired of it.
Also, Minutemen's Double Nickels on the Dime, with its 43 tracks, and Guided by Voices' Human Amusements at Hourly Rates, with 32 tracks, are two behemoth albums that I always bring along on roadtrips. |

The Cribs - "Men's Needs, Women's Needs, Whatever" - Not a bad track out of 12 Songs.
The Replacements - "Let It Be" - At the top of their game during the Bob Stinson era. They were starting to show thier versatility on this record, also. Rush - "Signals" - I love this album to it's overproduced core |

5. U2- THE JOSHUA TREE- Hands down best album of the 80's.
4. Guns N' Roses- APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION- Best metal album of the 80's. 3. Pear Jam- TEN- I'm sorry. You can credit Nirvana with Nevermind as the best Alternative album ever, and it might be. But TEN is just a better all around effort in my book. 2. Public Enemy- FEAR OF A BLACK PLANET- One of the most important albums ever made, and one that still rings true to this day (even though it was released in 1990). Best rap album ever. 1. Queensryche- OPERATION MINDCRIME- To this day, I have yet to hear an album that is as compelling as this one, which tells a story from track 1 all the way to track 15. A masterpiece that is epic. A true gem. |
