Awwww instead of looking what is on the outside look at the person within for that is the person you have become. We must learn to accept what age and life has thrown at us but we must learn to love what is on the inside then those flaws on the outside do not matter as much. Besides those flaws we seem to see things that others do not see. Your a beautiful woman that what is within shines through.

colder and drier than

in this arid place
twisted and handsome
the rugged look

course under tough bark
holding many many rings
on his stubborn core

he stands alone
where few can even gain
purchase he perseveres
for millenia among
a very few of this worlds
oldest living gnarled witnesses
how dramatic
majestic
distilled essence of life
