My heart goes out to all who's lives were affected by cancer. My dad was in pain for over a year when he was finally diagnosed. I'm so sorry to hear about your grandmother. This is time of togetherness and patience in the up coming months. Please come back, with your thoughts and feelings, we will all be here for you as an extended family. Peace and love, Bunny

Lost my husband in June 2006 from multiple myeloma (bone cancer). He was diagnosed in February 2006. I had breast cancer in 1998, with mastectomy and chemo. I'm still here and cancer free!

Treasure every moment you have left with your grandma.....

I'm sorry to hear about your Grandma. Keep your head up and hope in your heart. My mom was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Uterine. They never found it till the tumor on her uterus burst and caused her to deliver my sister 3 months early. They gave her six months to live. That was over 15 years ago and she is still here with us. And Cancer free for the last 8 years. ( yep, my baby sister is healthy and happy now as well. She weighed 1 pound 2 ounces at birth and spent two months in the hospital )

Sweetie, I'm so sorry. Cancer is something that touches so many lives. I lost my grandfather to it many years ago, prostrate cancer that went to his bones. My sister and mom both died in 1999. Lisa had fought it, breast cancer, for several years... when it finally manifested itself in her lungs. Mom didn't even know she had it until it was too late, lung cancer for her. Nothing anyone can say will make it better, just know that we are praying for you. Something that has helped me, to get involved... the Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society... Light the Night and Team in Training for the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society... there are many charities out there directly linked to cancer and cancer research. It helps you to know you are doing something to help others. That may not be your thing... and that is fine. We are all different. It did help me, to think I was doing something, anything, to help others in the same circumstances.

Just take care, spend as much time as you can with your grandma. She knows you love her and care. Cherish the moments.
