Topic: dorm fire

this is probably the wrong forum but, i just wanted to warn everyone. My son just called and said there was a fire in Prentice Hall at Kent State University. As far as he knows no one was hurt. But the firemen said the fire was caused by a curling iron left on. ( ok, i know not every one uses curling irons) There are lots of frightned kids so say a prayer. Thanks.

My little sister does this all the time, I keep warning her but she doesnt seem to listen. They should have a manditory timer on them of some sorts to help with these kind of problems

Many of today's curling irons have auto-shutoff.
