Say you have an exgirlfriend who doesnt or hasent let go for over five years Ive tried everything to explain my feelings to her but she just doesnt get it. Ive moved on why cant she? any suggestions? I really dont get it

you can't really stop them with out changing your number, moving, find a new job... i had an ex i dated for 3 years, for the past 8 years she has called every few months wanting to get back together. i hang up on her when she calls, i refuse to speak to her. if she shows up someplace i leave. if their that insistant on it you can't do much other then file for a restraining order and you probably wont get that unless it gets violent in some way...

Do you have kids with her? If you have kids, and you need to see her or deal with her, set clear boundaries and don't let her cross the line. If you don't, then stop feeling bad about it. You already spelled it out to her and the only reason she's hanging on is because you let her. No kids, then cut and run.
