Topic: Who created the first imperfection? | |
---|---|
Do you have an answer? |
|
|
|
depends on who you believe...
"God" created Adam and Eve... so if you believe in that, and you also believe that Jesus was the only person without sin (perfect)... Then Adam must have had imperfections, therefore... God did it first?? |

Humans did, since perfection and imperfection (even in the realm of gods and deities) are human rationalizations, we are the ones who define perfection and we are the ones who define imperfections, so it was mankind after all. For without an eye to see it does perfection exist? And if it does exist without outside observers then how can it be called perfection without something to compare it to?

According to the science of astrophysics the Big Bang created the first imperfection.
In fact, life as we know it would not even be possible had it not been for that first imperfection which created all of the beautiful imperfections that we see around us. You see, if the universe were perfect, it would have no recognizable stuff it in. It would just be one perfectly homogeneous cloud of perfectly distributed particles. It’s the fact that they have been distributed imperfectly that gives rise to the universe we see. A perfect world can have no distinct features because distinct features are themselves imperfections. So be grateful for imperfections! Without them life would impossible. |

What makes you say that? Animals have been eating other animals long before man came on the scene. Disease also existed long before man came on the scene. Do you think those things were perfect? |

You may have just given some people an out with this one. Well if they needed an 'out' more power to them. |

animals are supposed to eat other animals... that's how they survive.
We don't know much about diseases before mankind so it's hard to comment on that. |

animals are supposed to eat other animals... You have strange ideas of 'perfection' my dear. I guess you're thinking in terms of a designer and anything the designer says is ok must then be perfect "by design". I suppose you can view it that way. But some people might argue that the designer was a bit sadistic in his design if that's the case. |

Now that I have read this I realize that imperfection is key. Is there any Religion out there that thinks Imperfection is Not Godly |

I've got an imperfect answer, so mine's the second, evidently.
