If tomorrow all the things were gone,
I’d worked for all my life. And I had to start again, with just my children and my wife. I use to believe in those words until I saw our rich get richer and the poor get poorer. I have watch our middle class disappear. I have watch my fellow country men justify an unjust war. I listen and heard of the countless brave men and women die for nothing. In the past few years that Bush Jr has been president, the words freedom have become cheap words.
I use to be proud to be American. Now, I can only hope that the next president can fix the damage that Bush Jr has inflicted on the public that turned a blind eye. |

My heart is breaking over what is happening too ... i am not trying to turn a blind eye to what is going on... I just think that Faith is all we have, that God will help the good and He will cast judgement eventually on the bad... I don't have all the answers, but we have to live somehow... without giving in to all the lies that are being put our way and if i don't speak out for what i believe in, and hold fast to the freedoms this country was founded upon, i believe that it would be as if my young uncles in WWII  and my fellow country men & women in all the wars died in vain and i cannot let that happen....  I refuse to give up ... we can't just let the evil in this land consume us |

Not saying we would be totally in the clear but not as deep in the mess that we are in....How can people continue to afford to drive to work when gas is over 3.00 a gallon and most are making minimum wage with a family.....it takes all that you make in gas just to be able to go to work. No wonder all you hear about is people stealing from one another or pumping gas and driving off. We need to join together as one and help each other through these tough times. I feel in my heart that there is light at the end of the tunnel and the lord will lead us in the right direction only if we will follow.....

I feel in my heart that there is light at the end of the tunnel and the lord will lead us in the right direction only if we will follow..... Yes, Samantha...that is very beautiful.... I do believe that too.. i don't even own a car... If i can barely feed myself and help my family, i can certainly get by without a car... I am in better health and shape for it... and i make way less impact on the environment ... I am not bragging, but i am 54 and will be 55 in less than 6 months.... i have major back injuries and major nerve damage and carpal tunnel and other really bad injuries... I understand that i live in a warmer state now, but i also ride in the city with cars & semis, big giant trucks & buses.... many pedestrians not paying attention, major traffic and pollution & people speeding with their attention on their cell phones... very dangerous conditions... i know first hand that it is difficult to ride a bike when it is very windy & rainy & certainly not in the snow... i haven't seen snow shoes for bicycles yet, but my point is, if i can do it, so can others... especially in the summer and get a nice tan and workout as well, and have good cardiovascular condition, i just said that because of the mention of gasoline prices... and i was just thinking that if more people rode a bike, it would be much more peaceful and less polluted and maybe the gas prices would go down, if less people were so dependant on gasoline and you would have more money to buy what you really need in the long run.... i also feel in my heart that there is a bright light at the end of the tunnel , and the Lord will lead us in the direction we should follow as well... if only we would listen closely enough and cool our jets long enough to be able to hear what He is saying |
